A weekend in Copenhagen

Last weekend, my best friend and I have decided to visit Copenhagen. We took a flight (not too expensive for a long weekend and must faster than the train) and we were there in between 1h 30 and 2 hours!

We have booked an Airbnb 10 minutes away by train from downtown and we visited Copenhagen for 2 full days! The weather was nice and it only rained the day we left.

Copenhagen is really a cute little city: Houses are very colorful, which makes the landscape looks amazing. The city is very clean, not polluted (Danish bikes a lot) and modern. We divided our visit intoΒ two parts: A downtown day (Tivoli, Christianshavn, Cirkelbroen) and a west side day (little mermaid, changing of the Guards, botanical garden and the university). We walked around the city, which was around 18km per day!

Denmark is really a welcoming country. We visited a few “hygge” places, the apartment we rented was itself very cozy. Danish people are always ready to help, which was nice since we could not understand anything in Danish!

Enjoy the pictures!
